Spectrum Surgical Instruments Donates to Good Neighbors Charity

Spectrum Surgical Instruments Corp., recently donated 450 brand new items, including toys, gloves, clothing, household items, general supplies, food, and much more to Good Neighbors, Inc. Good Neighbors is charitable organization, providing items to people in need in the greater Akron, Ohio area. Spectrum Surgical employees actively took part in a variety of in-office fundraisers during this holiday season, including raffles for vacation-themed baskets, flat-screen televisions, and iPads, and more. Spectrum Surgical Instruments Chief Operating Officers, Rick and Michelle Schultz unveiled the total amount raised, and with help from its employees, shopped and donated the shipment?a cargo van full of items to Good Neighbors, Inc.

Name Tag, Inc. Donates $5,000 to Granite Education Foundation

This marks the third consecutive year that Name Tag, Inc. has donated to the Granite Education Foundation, and this year’s donation will help go towards the purchasing of gift cards that will soon clothe needy children in warm coats and shoes this winter.

The majority of the $ 5,000 donation helped to buy Walmart and Payless ShoeSource gift cards for dozens of children in the 61 elementary schools throughout Granite School District. A small portion of the donation also went towards bagged packages of various items such as blankets, books, toys, and school supplies. These 1,000-plus packages will be distributed to hundreds of elementary and junior high students in the district.

Clyde Coller, Founder and CEO of Name Tag, Inc. is happy to work with the foundation again this year.

K?NEX Donates Building Sets to ‘Toys for the North’ Charity

K?NEX Brands, the only U.S. construction company focused on Building Worlds Kids Love?, donated more than $ 6,000 worth of building sets to ?Toys for the North?. This charity was started for one purpose ? to provide children in some of the most remote and poorest areas of northern Canada with toys they may not otherwise get for the holidays.????

?Every child deserves to have a happy and fun-filled holiday season?, said K?NEX President CEO Michael Aratan, ?and we are thrilled to be able to help provide even just a little bit of it to these children.?

With the help of K?NEX and other Canadian Toy Association members, the total has reached $ 80,000 and is continuing to grow. The toys will be wrapped and delivered by Royal Canadian Mounted Police using snowmobiles, sleds, ATVs, and any other means of transportation to reach families in even the most remote areas.
